The picture on the right is of a standard CHEMPACK container. It is constructed of heavy alloy and aluminum with a plexiglass and metal mesh door. The container is also padlocked, sealed and wired for security purposes.
CHEMPACK containers should not be moved or opened unless there is an emergency. Once the door is opened, an alarm will notify the CDC in Atlanta that the materiel is being accessed. This will prompt a series of phone calls to the storage site point of contact and the CDPHE.
